Bag Features

  • The main compartment is fully lined, and all of the raw edges are finished with binding.

  • The zipper for the main compartment extends past the end of the bag, allowing the opening of the bag to fully expand.

  • The collapsible front pocket is designed to expand when full, and flatten when empty. It has a flap closure with a one buckle, and an internal cinch collar to keep your items secure inside the pocket.

  • A bungee net of the bottom of the bag allows you to carry additional bulky items that do not fit inside the bag. For example it could be used to stow your bike helmet, a raincoat, poster tubes, packages, or many other such things!

  • The bag can be carried with the sturdy carry handles, or a shoulder strap can be attached for over the shoulder carrying.

Pattern Features

  • The pattern itself is used to mark and cut the fabric, but it also has alignment notches and marks to help align panels and trimmings. The notches are easy to see and are clipped while cutting out the panels, which minimizes any additional measuring while sewing the bag together.

  • The instructions have easy to read and very thorough text that walks you step by step through the whole construction process. Each step is accompanied by high resolution images that illustrate exactly what you should be doing in the step.

  • The instructions include a few illustrations that help you through tricky steps, and avoid construction errors.
